How we handle your information.

This page explains what Desert Dune collects through this website and its public demo, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Client projects may have additional agreements. Last updated November 3, 2026.

Information you submit

When you request or book a consultation, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, business name, contact information, industry, the tools you use today, a description of what is taking your time, and the time you picked.

Booking a consult

When you book a time, we create an event on Desert Dune's Google Calendar with a Google Meet link and invite you to it, so Google receives your name, email address, and the answers you gave. Google sends the invitation and any updates or cancellations. We also email you a confirmation and reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before the call, sent through our email provider, Resend. Your confirmation email has a private link to reschedule or cancel; treat it like a password and don't forward it.

Our use of Google data

Desert Dune connects only its own Google Calendar. We use that access to check when we are free and to create, move, or cancel consultation events. We do not read event details from the calendar, and we do not use Google data for advertising or share it with anyone except as needed to run bookings. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use it

We use consultation information to respond to your request, understand whether we can help, prepare for a conversation, and manage the potential business relationship. We do not sell consultation submissions.

Where it is stored

Website submissions and bookings are stored in Desert Dune's private customer relationship system. The website is hosted through Cloudflare and the application data is stored in Supabase. Access to client and lead records is restricted through account permissions and database security policies.

Demo and browser storage

The dashboard demo uses made-up data and stores demo changes only in your browser. It is not connected to a real client account. The dashboard may also store a small preference, such as theme choice, in your browser.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies, and we do not sell or share your information for advertising.

Quote links

Private quote links contain a unique access token. Do not forward a quote link to anyone who should not see that quote. If you believe a quote link was shared accidentally, contact us and we can replace it.

Retention and your choices

We keep consultation information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, evaluate a potential relationship, provide services, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. You can ask what information we have about your consultation request, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we need to keep for legitimate business or legal purposes.
